Department of Computer Science & Engineering in association with Computer Society of India (CSI), Student Chapter organized a special program for the 2023 batch placement selects, on 15th November 2022 from 11. 00 AM to 12.30 PM. The invited speaker for the event was Mr. Sakthiganesh Chandrkasan, Senior Technology Architect, Infosys, Bangalore. The title of the event was “How to be Industry Ready”. He addressed all the 242 placed students (as on 15.11.22).
The resource person emphasized the following points to students,
- Importance of communication, soft skills, professionalism, accountability, attitude, adaptability and continuous improvement
- General Behavioral traits and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Structured and Procedural Way of Doing Things
- Importance of team work, work ethics, Email etiquettes, Taking initiatives
- Domain Knowledge, Time and Task Management and Success Mantras to be followed.
All the placed students of CSE department have attended and benefited from this event.
