The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized Five-day National Level Virtual FDP on Data Science and Machine Learning from 7th March to 11th March 2022. Data Science is a multidisciplinary approach to extracting actionable insights from the large and ever-increasing volumes of data. The chief guest of the FDP inaugural ceremony on 7th March 2022, was Mr. Manas Dasgupta, Head of Wealth Technology, ANZ, Chairperson, ICT Expert committee of BCIC. The entire FDP has focus on important aspects of Data Science and Machine learning. There were 2 sessions per day and totally around 10 sessions for five days. We had eminent resource persons across the globe from Belgium, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, India ( Bangalore, Chennai), academicians from leading institutions and industry expertise on Data Science and Machine Learning. All the resources persons delivered their sessions on various topics and very effective knowledge transfer took place. Around 200 participants across India took part and benefited from the FDP.
